Ellen
Season Three
Ellen Morgan is a neurotic,
30-something, bookstore employee who tries to get by life in
dealing with her various friends whom include the outgoing
redhead Paige (Joely Fischer), insecure photographer Adam, her
unsure-of-himself cousin Spence (Jeremy Piven), coffee shop guy
Joe Farrell, the critical and obnoxious Audrey, and most
challenging of all, Ellen also has to condent being around her
annoying and overbearing parents Lois and Harold.
The first two
seasons each started off with great episodes. The third
season not so much. Jeremy Piven is loud and obnoxious and
Ellen really isn't funny. If you can hold out a few
episodes it does improve somewhat. But there is still that
annoying Hollywood thing of trying to make her look hetero.
And that, thank goodness, didn't last too long.
