If you are a New Yorker you've probably been here, but if you are a tourist, this is the place to visit.
Forget about the Statue of Liberty and Times Square, you can go there later. Your first stop should be at this magnificent and delicious bakery, well-known in the West Side Village.
The bakery itself is very small, there are no tables to sit down, but who cares, just cross the street to the little park and join all the other customers attacking their cupcakes.
Cupcakes? Yes, absolutely the BEST cupcakes in town (not to mention all of the other fabulous cakes and desserts you'll drool over while in the shop). Don’t worry about the line outside, it’s well worth it and the anticipation makes the cupcakes taste even better.
If the line seems long you can pass the few minutes by being on the lookout for celebrities that frequently visit Magnolia Bakery.
Once you've gone to this little piece of heaven, you won’t forget it. Magnolia Bakery is the best place to be and treat yourself to sugar, NYC style. Don’t worry about the carbs… you're in New York, you will walk it off.
