Hollywood is trying hard to make two old TV stars big deal in this very long mini-series about terrorism.
Using the same tactics as the media nowadays, The Grid uses the power of fear to try impress people that the world is just full of terrorists and close to an end.
But, thanks to experts who appear in the characters of Julianna Margulies (ER) and Dylan McDermont (The Practice), the world is safe.
The Grid is not quite right. First, its long. Second, its boring. Third, its annoying.
For the first two hours, every single person on the screen has a little bio, (like on screen in Bourne Identity style, where it says what they do, where they are and what they are wearing… okay the clothing part is just a joke) and after the 84th person to be explained, it gets on your nerves.
The subject is a worldwide terrorist crisis, so they use several "locations" around the globe to show different people. But every time that happens, all dialogues are half in their original language and half in English, and I'm talking about the conversation between the same two people, very weird.
Unless if you are a fan of the actors, this is just another mini-series made for TV.
